Murderer!
July 5, 2009You may call me a murderer because:
I support abortion
I support euthanasia
I support termination of life for “those who would be born with severe mental problems” (eg. down syndrome)
Say what you will, but I believe that letting them live is more cruel than killing them.
Abortion? The world has to deal with overpopulation. Resources grow less and less each day. Why bother with children who are unwanted? If they aren’t aborted, they will likely be abandoned and live their life in orphanages. It is not an easy life. Another scenario is that they will be brought up in a harsh environment where they will have no love from their parents but instead be hated. In the case that the love is there, there could be other reasons, such as the parents not being able to afford to bring up a child. Hence they will live in poverty.
Euthanasia ? When you see someone crying or writhing in pain with no hope of recovery you want them to live? You may carry a shred of hope that one day they may recover. Having that shred can be selfish. You do not know how to let go. You are not the one bedridden. You are not physically suffering in pain as much as that person. Maybe you have a heart ache. Grow up. You’re worse than an emo kid.
The handicapped (more to mentally handicapped)? Have you ever been to a “special” home? Have you seen how the people there are? Did you know that in some cases that these mentally handicapped people can be dangerous to both themselves and others? Did you know there were cases where some were unattended for sometime and when their caretakers came to their room they find bodies of people bloodied, dirtied and torn? Did you know some intentionally hurt themselves? It makes you question how compassionate you are.
End note. The lives of others are in the hands of others. Not god.
