Things I learnt from MJ’s death
July 1, 2009MJ is dead! Woohoo! Finally!
Huh what? You think I’m insensitive because I’m actually happy he’s gone? I genuinely am happy that he has passed on. Why? Let’s recap his life:
- abused/exploited as a kid
- wrongfully accused as a child molester. I stand firm with my belief that MJ never molested any children. He is a man who has an innocent and childlike heart, he did love children but he was not IN LOVE with them. He built Neverland for children. He made it well stocked with ice cream and entertainment for children. He just wanted to make children have a happy childhood (which he never had) and what did he get in return? SHIT. A CRAPLOAD OF SHIT on his reputation. I think he did not bother to clear his name so he settled most of the cases out of court. Regardless I do make fun of him being a “child lover”.
- He is lonely. Yes he was married a few times, but I don’t recall him being really “married”. His wives were merely “bearer’s” of his seed. I don’t think he has a good concept of love and never experienced true love before.
- He was criticized for every single thing he does. Come on man, he’s not a god. He’s a human being, to err is humane.
- Due to the point above, he became paranoid. He covered himself up, invested money on disguises which did the opposite of it’s intention. The media, the fans, the people. They turned him in to a freak.
- Before his demise, he had legal issues here and there. He also had financial problems (if I’m not mistaken) which I would attribute to his own fault. He spends his fortune on antiquities that cost a fortune and other “unnecessary” items. Regardless, losing money is never a happy thing.
- he was afraid of death. He yearned for immortality. Now he shall no longer need to be burdened with that fear.
And now he is dead. I have thought of writing up something about MJ but I decided not to do so on the day of his death. It would be too cliche. Too much of a tribute.
So what did I learn from his death?
- People who have forgotten about MJ suddenly start buying his music/memorabilia. People start to remember his greatness. People are giving their condolences. All this is bullshit to me. It’s like kicking someone in the nuts, then coming back to say sorry after that person has died. Where was all this “support” at when he needed it? MJ gets to enjoy a total amount of ZERO CENTS from the royalties of all the stuff that is being sold because…. He’s FREAKING DEAD!
- People are more “forgiving” and only remember the good things once someone dies. If I die, I don’t mind if someone mentions something like “SP was a rude selfish annoying SOB, but may he RIP.”
- if I’m not mistaken, one of the boys who accused MJ of molesting them came upfront to the media confessing that he was told to do so by his parents and that he never would have wanted to accuse MJ of doing so willingly. I don’t know if my source on this news is reliable however… It’s too late to apologize. It’s too late.
- there are rumours of MJ faking his death. Similar to Elvis Presley. It’s kind of retarded but funny none the less imagining how successful a “resurrection concert” would be.
- there are people who actually commit suicide as their IDOL has left this world. I find it sad. MJ wouldn’t have wanted them to end their lives like that. On another note, I guess these people lack love from others. They are very lonely people. I pity them.
- many are cashing on on his death. His death is profitable.
Human nature at it’s best.
Regardless, of all these shit. Micheal Jackson is a legend. As Elvis Presley has and always will be the King of Rock, Micheal Jackson will always be the King of Pop.
All the best to you in your “new life”.
On a totally different note, MikeT posted a short post similar to this before I wrote this, I even read his post before writing this. I’m not plagiarizing him/expanding on his idea, its just that we probably share the same idea (I guess). Only he wrote his before I wrote mine (and mines longer
).
