Photographers’ Curse

I love taking photos. I did a lot of research on camera phones but not on digital cameras. Why? First of all, I bring my phone everywhere I go, it would seem logical to have a camera that is available for use whenever possible, it would be a waste to have a beautiful shot wasted by not having a camera to capture the shot.

So I got myself a phone with a good camera. People rarely see me snapping pictures of friends using it, not because I don’t treasure them, it’s because my camera phone requires a steady hand and requires a few seconds of posing to capture the picture well. It is not exactly good for point and shoot but more to macro, night and scenery shots.

Anyway, most of the times when I’m with friends, some of them would bring their own digital camera. I would prefer to let them do the snapping or use their device to snap photos.

Recently an event has passed and I had a chat with the “main photographer”, Wei Chiang (also known as the tall guy or the guy who owns the dslr cam).

We agreed that photographers have a dreadful curse.

The curse of people requesting pictures after an event is over……
